The festival featured 29 distinguished guests and 12 moderators from literature, art, media, and thought. The square near University City Hall became a stage for 20 sessions and discussions. These explored Emirati literary creativity's past, present, and future while examining literature's role in fostering national values.

Visitors enjoyed nine interactive workshops for all ages on topics like space exploration, Arabic calligraphy design, storytelling, and arts. The book exhibition displayed new works from 41 Emirati publishers. Attendees also experienced 25 musical performances, including a piano recital by Iman Al Hashimi.

The festival offered unique shopping experiences from five stores and culinary delights from ten restaurants. Rashid Al Kous of the Emirates Publishers Association praised the event: "The first edition of the Sharjah Literature Festival exceeded all expectations... celebrating Emirati cultural identity."

Al Kous thanked the Sharjah Book Authority for its role in establishing Sharjah as a cultural hub. He also acknowledged University City of Sharjah's support as a strategic partner in making the festival successful.

As this inaugural chapter concludes, it sets a promising foundation for future editions dedicated to words and ideas. The festival fostered cultural dialogue and human connection through its activities, showcasing Emirati literature's vibrant spirit.
