Sharjah Initiates Aman Safety Drive To Support Weather-Affected Communities

In a significant move to bolster social responsibility and aid those impacted by recent adverse weather conditions in the UAE, the Sharjah Social Services Department has unveiled the Aman Safety Network initiative. This initiative is designed to facilitate a collaborative effort among individuals, government entities, and the private sector to provide timely support to affected individuals and families. Sharjah Media City (Shams) has taken a pioneering step by being the first government body to join this commendable network.

The Aman Network aims to broaden the avenues for donations, offering various options for contributors. Donations can be made in cash, directly transferred to the Social Services Department's bank account, or by contacting the department to donate essential items such as food supplies, clothes, and furniture. Additionally, services like cleaning, repair, and home maintenance, alongside building materials and health services, are also welcomed. This structured approach ensures that assistance reaches a wide array of affected individuals efficiently.

He acknowledged the critical importance of unity in addressing the challenges posed by the recent weather conditions. Dr. Al Midfa reaffirmed Shams' dedication to fulfilling its social responsibilities and contributing positively to public welfare.

This initiative not only showcases Sharjah's proactive approach in crisis management but also sets a precedent for how collaboration can lead to effective solutions in times of need.
