Sharjah Islamic Forum To Host Its 25th Scholarly Session Focusing On Faith And Knowledge

The Sharjah Islamic Forum (SIF) has announced the commencement of its 25th annual scholarly session, themed "And Allah teaches you." This event will take place at Al-Maghfirah Mosque from 21st June to 3rd July 2025. The session will feature participation from a notable group of scholars and aims to spread authentic Islamic knowledge while enhancing religious and cultural awareness.

Dr. Majid Bushalibi, Secretary-General of the Forum, emphasised that this session is a long-standing tradition in Sharjah. It supports a moderate approach and offers a secure learning environment. He mentioned that preparations for this year's event are complete, including selecting lecture topics, coordinating with scholars, and publishing a book featuring course texts.

To increase public participation, the media and technical committee has launched several initiatives. Saif Yousif Ali, Head of the Media and Technical Committee, confirmed a comprehensive promotional campaign across print and digital platforms. This campaign is being coordinated with local institutions to reach a wider audience.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mohammed Nour Al-Din Al-Anis, Head of the Scientific Committee, explained the significance of this year's theme. It merges faith, knowledge, and divine guidance. The selected texts and topics are designed to provide students with a solid foundation in these areas.

The Forum has arranged daily bus services to Al-Maghfirah Mosque from specific pickup points to facilitate attendance. Additionally, there will be a daily competition offering valuable prizes to encourage public engagement throughout the session.

This annual session continues to serve as an esteemed academic platform in Sharjah. It contributes significantly to building a balanced scholarly environment by attracting both students and scholars from within the UAE and abroad.
