Sharjah Government Organisational Structures Committee Reviews Key Departmental Structures For Enhanced Efficiency
The Sharjah Government Organisational Structures Committee recently convened to assess the organisational framework of the Sharjah Archives. Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, who chairs the committee and is a member of the Sharjah Executive Council, led the meeting. Salah Salem Al Mahmoud, Director-General of the Sharjah National Archives, was also present.
During this session, members examined general tasks and responsibilities. They discussed how these could be distributed across departments to maximise efficiency and enhance government performance. The committee also reviewed the organisational structure of the Sharjah Noble Quran & Sunnah Establishment (SNQSE).

Sultan Mattar bin Dalmouk, Chairman of SNQSE's Board of Directors, and Omar Ali Al Shamsi, Director of the Foundation, participated in discussions about SNQSE's proposed organisational structure. The aim was to boost institutional performance while ensuring coordination among various units aligns with their mission.
The committee's approach involves evaluating proposals for developing organisational structures across different departments in Sharjah. This evaluation considers global best practices and modern standards to ensure effective governance.
Several key figures attended these meetings. Among them were Asma Rashid bin Taliah, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Executive Council; Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority; Waleed Ibrahim Al Sayegh, Director General of the Sharjah Finance Department; and Counselor Dr. Issa Saif bin Hanzel, Director of the Sharjah Government Legal Department.
Majid Hamad Al Marri, Director of the Human Resources Department, was also present. These discussions are part of a broader effort to adopt a comprehensive approach to improving organisational structures within Sharjah's governmental entities.
The committee aims to ensure that all proposals align with international standards while reflecting local needs and priorities. This strategy is designed to foster an environment where government departments can operate more effectively and efficiently.
