The Foundation's main office will be in Sharjah city, with potential branches elsewhere in the Emirate as decided by the Chairperson. H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi will lead the Foundation. She is responsible for appointing suitable individuals to assist in managing and supervising its activities.

Sharjah Family Development Established for Families

The Foundation's mission is to empower families by enhancing their roles and ensuring stability. It focuses on equipping families to face modern challenges while improving their well-being. By studying family-related issues, it aims to propose solutions that elevate community development across the Emirate.

To achieve its objectives, the Foundation will develop strategic plans related to family affairs. It will address family challenges through sustainable development initiatives, raise awareness among community members, and promote social integration through various programmes and workshops.

Encouraging community participation is a key focus for the Foundation. It seeks to create national platforms for collaboration, exchange information, coordinate efforts, and promote volunteer work in family-related fields. Consulting experts and collaborating with specialised institutions are also part of its strategy.

The Foundation is authorised to propose changes to legislation concerning family affairs. It will conduct research on family matters, analyse trends, and develop appropriate solutions. Additionally, it can enter into partnerships upon approval by the Chairperson.

Financial Resources

The financial resources for the Foundation will come from government allocations, self-generated revenues from its operations, and other approved sources. This funding structure ensures that it can effectively carry out its functions and achieve its goals.

Moreover, the Foundation aims to enhance cooperation with local, regional, and international bodies concerned with family affairs. Participation in relevant conferences will help align strategies with global standards while following up on recommendations ensures a unified approach.

The Foundation may also receive additional responsibilities assigned by either the Ruler or the Chairperson. Its comprehensive approach aims to foster a supportive environment for families throughout Sharjah.
