Sharjah To Benefit 17,000 Residents With Dibba Al Hisn Gas Expansion
The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) is advancing its project to introduce natural gas service to Dibba Al-Hisn city. This extensive plan includes creating a storage facility for natural gas, distributing it via an 84-kilometre pipeline in four phases, and setting up internal connections for homes. The project, costing approximately Dh31 million, aims to benefit around 17,000 residents.
Engineer Ibrahim Al Balghouni, Director of the Natural Gas Department, noted that the project has reached a 10 percent completion rate. Initial phases are expected to serve specific neighbourhoods by the end of the year, following a meticulously planned schedule.
