This resolution seeks to bolster social and economic stability for Emirati families by providing care for senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and bedridden persons. It aims to empower beneficiaries to manage their living needs independently and effectively.

The resolution specifies eligible citizens in Sharjah, including heads of households, bedridden senior citizens, persons with disabilities who are bedridden, and dependent senior citizens. It details legal provisions regarding assistance value, conditions, executive decisions, cancellation clauses, and enforcement procedures.

The council also approved a draft law to repeal certain provisions of Law No. (11) of 2017 concerning the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA). The SEC directed that this draft law be forwarded to the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) for further legislative processing.

These initiatives reflect ongoing efforts to enhance governance and support within the Emirate of Sharjah. By addressing both social welfare and environmental regulations, the council aims to foster a balanced approach to development.
