The Council reviewed a report on the Housing Department's participation in the Gulf Housing Week held in Doha, Qatar. The review highlighted key initiatives and projects aimed at sustainable housing for Emirati families. It also assessed the latest practices in the Gulf and considered recommendations to boost the real estate sector through knowledge exchange among Gulf Cooperation Council member countries.

The SEC examined a report on including the Kalba mangrove reserve in a memorandum of understanding for preserving sea turtles and their habitats in the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia. This aligns with Sharjah’s efforts to support environmental initiatives, conserve biodiversity, protect wildlife, and manage natural reserves. The Kalba mangrove reserve is now the second location in Sharjah included in this memorandum after Sir Bu Nair Island Reserve.

The meeting covered various subjects related to executing government tasks in Sharjah. Enhancing different services and monitoring progress in carrying out development projects across different sectors were key points discussed during the session.

In conclusion, these initiatives reflect Sharjah's commitment to improving public services and environmental conservation while fostering regional collaboration for sustainable development.
