Sharjah Excellence Award 2025 Introduces Advanced Assessment Model For Private Sector Growth

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has unveiled the 2025 edition of the Sharjah Excellence Award. This initiative uses a fourth-generation global institutional assessment model, aligning with international standards in performance, innovation, and sustainability. The award is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

The award aims to boost competitiveness among private sector companies in the UAE and GCC. It promotes leadership, innovation, and quality standards in institutional practices. Previously, it engaged 600 companies across 30 sectors like healthcare, education, industry, agriculture, and professional services. This diversity underscores its broad scope and role in fostering sustainable business models.

New Assessment Model for Sharjah Excellence Award

Registration for this edition is open to Sharjah-based government institutions, private companies, and entrepreneurs from the UAE and GCC. The award comprises eight categories: Sharjah Excellence Award, Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award, Sharjah SMEs Award, and Sharjah Entrepreneurs with Disability Award. Participants must visit www.shjseen.ae to register.

To aid participation, SCCI will conduct awareness workshops and orientation seminars. Field visits will also be organised to promote the award and explain application criteria and procedures. These initiatives aim to ensure participants are well-informed about the process.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and the Award’s Board of Trustees, highlighted that the award is integral to Sharjah’s vision for a knowledge-based economy. He mentioned that participation grew by 34% in 2024, inspiring further innovation for the upcoming edition.

Nada Al Hajri, General Coordinator of the Award, urged all eligible entities to apply to benefit from its developmental advantages. She stressed that the award plays a significant role in embedding a culture of excellence within the regional business community.

Applicants need to complete a registration form on www.shjseen.ae and submit a valid trade license along with an SCCI membership certificate. Approved applicants will receive a participation dossier. All private sector entities in the UAE can apply except for specific categories like the Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award (for GCC businesses) and Entrepreneurs with Disability Award (nominees selected by the Board).

The award's comprehensive approach aims to enhance business practices across various sectors while promoting sustainable growth through innovation and quality standards adherence.
