Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2025 Set To Welcome Over 12,000 Attendees With Diverse Activities

The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025 is set to be the largest event of its kind in the region. It aims to empower and enhance the skills of around 12,000 participants through more than 250 activities. These include 45 workshops and masterclasses that focus on various aspects of entrepreneurship such as business development, finance, mental health, and global expansion.

SEF 2025 will feature a Sustainability & Wellness Zone, powered by Emaar, which will highlight personal well-being and responsible business practices. This zone will host over 50 experts from both regional and global backgrounds on the Balance Stage. The festival's theme, "Where We Belong," underscores its commitment to fostering a sense of community among entrepreneurs.

A workshop led by Aqsa Khalifa and Alistair Aranha will provide recent graduates with strategies for job hunting, personal branding, and networking. This session aims to help them create a roadmap for personal growth and career success. Another session hosted by Andersen (UAE) will delve into business and tax strategies tailored for the UAE market.

Caroline-Lucie Ulbrich and Melissa Yacoub will host a session addressing the reality that about 90% of startups fail. They will guide first-time founders through strategies to embrace setbacks, foster innovation, and build resilient teams. Dr. Adel Karrani’s workshop will focus on actionable strategies to mitigate stress and create supportive work environments.

Robotics Workshop

Mohammed Saeed Almazrouie will lead an introductory workshop on robotics. This session will cover robot design, control systems, and programming through hands-on activities. It aims to provide foundational knowledge in robotics for attendees interested in this field.

Commitment to Leadership and Innovation

Sara Abdelaziz Al Nuaimi, CEO of Sheraa, highlighted the festival's dedication to nurturing leadership and innovation among entrepreneurs. Ahmad Al Matrooshi from Emaar emphasised the focus on promoting well-being and sustainable growth during the event.

The festival will also feature inspired sessions such as Q&As with wellness experts, panels on sustainable living, and exhibitions showcasing eco-friendly solutions. These activities are designed to inspire attendees to tackle real-world challenges effectively.

SEF 2025 returns for its eighth edition at the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park from February 1-2. It will host over 300 speakers from 45 countries, providing a platform for diverse perspectives in entrepreneurship. The event aims to prepare a future-ready generation capable of driving impactful innovation while maintaining a focus on sustainability.
