Sharjah Judicial Council Unveils The Sharjah Judiciary Platform For Unified Digital Court And Legal Services

The Sharjah Judicial Council has launched the Sharjah Judiciary Platform (www.sjd.ae), a unified digital system that combines court, Department of Justice and Public Prosecution services. The platform aims to give users remote access to key judicial and legal services, reducing the need for in-person visits.

Through this digital judicial platform, clients can manage many transactions online, including filing cases and following up on procedures. The platform is designed to support digital transformation in Sharjah’s justice sector and to strengthen transparency, efficiency and accessibility for all community members.

Sharjah Launches Unified Digital Judiciary

The first phase offers several specialised service groups covering civil, commercial, labour, personal status and enforcement cases. It also includes Public Prosecution services that help users manage and track criminal cases digitally, allowing parties to monitor case progress through a single online gateway.

Notary public services are also available on the Sharjah Judiciary Platform. These include legal documentation, acknowledgements, power of attorney procedures and notarisation for individuals and institutions. By providing these services online, the Council aims to streamline notarisation transactions and reduce waiting times at physical service centres.

The Council stated that development work on the Sharjah Judiciary Platform will continue over the coming period. Plans include expanding the range of digital services, adding new packages and gradually integrating AI-powered tools, with the goal of aligning the emirate’s judicial services with international digital practice standards.

Sheikh Faisal bin Ali Al Mualla, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Judicial Council, said: "the platform will accelerate procedures, saving litigants’ and clients’ time and effort, while enhancing service quality." Sheikh Faisal bin Ali Al Mualla added that the platform is an important step in modernising judicial processes.

Sheikh Faisal bin Ali Al Mualla also said: "the initiative aligns with the emirate’s vision of developing an integrated digital judiciary that supports the concept of digital justice and improves access to judicial and legal services." The Council indicated that these goals guide current work on future platform upgrades and expansions.
