Sharjah Executive Council Approves Initiatives For Improved Housing And Airport Services
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, led a meeting on Tuesday. H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, was also present at the Sharjah Ruler’s Office.
The council reviewed the "Isnad Initiative" report, which aims to manage housing projects and empower beneficiaries to complete their projects after selecting from 155 approved designs. The "Isnad" projects are known for quick completion, alignment with housing support values, free designs, and using green concrete in construction.
Recommendations from the "Isnad Initiative" report were approved by the council. This approval is expected to enhance operational efficiency and accommodate more housing projects due to significant citizen interest. So far, 448 housing units have been completed, with construction ongoing for 436 units, along with other approved transactions in progress.
The council also endorsed recommendations from the Sharjah International Airport Authority report. These recommendations aim to provide advanced services and facilities for airlines and passengers. The goal is to ensure smooth procedures and easy movement within the airport building, guaranteeing comfort for travelers and ease of use for departing, arriving, and transit passengers.
