Sharjah Chamber Unveils Second Cycle Of Strategic Business Leadership Programme For 2024-2025

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), through the Sharjah Training and Development Centre (STDC), has introduced the second cycle of its Strategic Business Leadership Programme for 2024-2025. This initiative, named "Begin your Successful Leadership Journey," is organised in collaboration with Granada Business School, part of the Granada Chamber of Commerce in Spain. The programme is designed to equip future leaders with advanced tools and training techniques.

The programme targets department managers and heads, concentrating on seven essential themes. These include business psychology in strategic leadership, using artificial intelligence (AI) for leading modern institutions, design thinking to tackle challenges, and developing innovative strategies alongside risk management approaches. It also covers establishing innovative institutions and encouraging organisational creativity.

Sharjah Chamber Launches Leadership Programme 2024-2025

Maryam Saif Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for the Support Services Sector at SCCI, emphasised the chamber's dedication to supporting UAE government strategies. These strategies focus on investing in human capital, nurturing talent, attracting intellectual resources, and sustainably developing skills. She stated that launching this programme's second cycle demonstrates SCCI’s commitment to enhancing human resources within government bodies.

Amal Abdullah Al Ali, STDC Director, highlighted the programme's vital role in advancing human resource capabilities in strategic leadership and business management within the government sector. She explained that it includes a series of advanced workshops aimed at improving participants' skills. The programme also focuses on creating more effective strategies while offering insights into global best practices.

Participants will gain practical experience through training sessions held in Spain. The second cycle aims to strengthen participants' abilities to develop innovative strategies that enhance operations within their organisations. It seeks to provide a comprehensive skill set for understanding personal behaviours and exploring professional capabilities that positively influence others.

Additionally, participants will learn to analyse their work environment and propose innovative solutions for future challenges. The programme helps trainees identify their unique strengths and creative elements that aid career advancement while fostering new work methodologies and models.

This initiative reflects SCCI’s commitment to promoting institutional excellence based on global best practices. It aims to equip qualified personnel with skills necessary for informed decision-making across various institutional frameworks.
