Sharjah Chamber And Kazakhstan Consulate Discuss Strengthening Economic Partnerships For Trade Growth

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) recently held discussions with the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Dubai to boost economic cooperation. The focus was on enhancing trade and investment ties between the two nations. This meeting underscored the significance of building partnerships between business communities and private sector entities to tap into promising investment opportunities across various sectors.

During an official visit to the SCCI headquarters, Almaz Tasbolat, Consul General of Kazakhstan in Dubai, met with Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI. The meeting included Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business Sector at SCCI, Dr. Fatima Khalifa Al Muqarrab, Director of International Relations Department at SCCI, and other officials from both sides.

Strengthening Trade Relations with Kazakhstan

The discussions focused on ongoing cooperation between Sharjah and Kazakhstan. Strategies were explored to advance economic ties through trade delegations and sector-specific exhibitions. These initiatives aim to open up investment opportunities for companies and investors in both markets.

Priority sectors with strong collaboration potential were highlighted during the talks. The real estate sector emerged as a key area for partnership. Both parties emphasized the importance of facilitating access to these opportunities for businesses in both countries.

H.E Abdallah Sultan Al Owais expressed the Sharjah Chamber's dedication to strengthening trade and investment relations with Kazakhstan. He stressed providing high-quality services to support Kazakh enterprises operating in Sharjah. He encouraged Kazakh companies to explore the emirate's investment landscape.

Al Owais highlighted Sharjah's pro-business regulatory environment, robust infrastructure, and strategic location as key factors driving sustainable growth. These elements make it an attractive destination for Kazakh businesses seeking expansion opportunities.
