The group also included members of the China Media Group in the Middle East. Salem Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of SBA, welcomed them alongside Khalid Ahmed Al Zarouni and Aisha Obaid Al Zarif.
During their visit, the delegation explored SBA's facilities, including TV and radio studios, production areas, and a news centre. They were briefed on SBA's operational procedures and future development plans. The authority currently operates six TV channels, four radio stations, and the Maraya digital platform.

Salem Ali Al Ghaithi highlighted SBA's dedication to expanding its network with leading global media organisations. He noted that the visit underscored China's interest in Sharjah's evolving media landscape. "The authority has achieved significant progress in production, coverage, and digital material recently," he said.
Both parties discussed potential collaborations for joint programming aimed at Emirati and Chinese audiences. They expressed interest in forming long-term partnerships to enhance their regional and global presence. These collaborations could strengthen both institutions' influence in the media sector.
Wang Lei, Deputy Director of Hainan Broadcasting Station, praised SBA's infrastructure and saw potential for increased cooperation. He mentioned that such partnerships could bolster UAE-China economic, cultural, and media ties. This collaboration aligns with Sharjah's role as a cultural and media hub.
The visit provided an opportunity for both sides to share ideas on producing content that appeals to audiences in both countries. This exchange of ideas is expected to lead to strategic collaborations that benefit both regions' media landscapes.
Sharjah's position as a cultural and media capital offers an ideal environment for collaboration across various industries. The advancements made by SBA can serve as a foundation for international media cooperation, enhancing its global reach.
