Shamsheer Vayalil Contributes AED 1 Million To Honour Mothers Through Education Fund

In a significant move towards supporting global education and honouring mothers, Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, the Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings, has pledged AED1 million to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative, spearheaded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, aims to establish a AED 1 billion endowment fund. The fund is dedicated to enhancing the educational opportunities for millions worldwide, reflecting the UAE's commitment to humanitarian causes.

The campaign not only allows individuals to make donations in honour of their mothers but also focuses on aiding underprivileged communities through education. It promotes values such as respect for parents, kindness, compassion, and solidarity. This initiative is a testament to the UAE's leading role in global humanitarian efforts.

The Mothers’ Endowment campaign operates under the umbrella of MBRGI, recognized as the largest regional foundation for humanitarian and developmental initiatives worldwide. Building on the success of previous campaigns initiated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this campaign has garnered extensive support and achieved its goals.

Bank transfers in UAE dirham are accepted at Emirates Islamic Bank (AE790340003708472909201). Additionally, SMS donations can be made by sending "Mother" to numbers (1034, 1035, 1036, 1038) for Etisalat by e& users. The DubaiNow app and Jood (Jood.ae), Dubai’s community contributions platform, also facilitate donations under the "Donations" tab.
