Shamsa Bint Hasher Al Maktoum Opens MEAPEN 2025 Congress For Healthcare Professionals
Sheikha Shamsa bint Hasher Al Maktoum, the General Supervisor of Women's Sports at Al Wasl Club, officially opened the fourth Middle Eastern Alliance for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Congress (MEAPEN 2025) at the Intercontinental Festival City. This event gathers healthcare professionals from both the region and globally, serving as a prominent scientific platform.
Over 600 attendees, including healthcare experts, are expected to participate in MEAPEN 2025. The congress will feature more than 70 expert speakers across 16 scientific sessions. Additionally, over 20 companies will participate, and there will be 50 poster presentations showcasing recent scientific advancements.

Dr. Wafaa Ayesh, Chairperson of MEAPEN and Vice President of ASPCN, expressed pride in the event's continuity for four years. She stated, "We are proud to see this specialised scientific event continuing for the fourth consecutive year. MEAPEN has evolved into a key platform that brings together leading experts and practitioners in clinical nutrition and healthcare from around the world."
The congress offers an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange and exploration of research trends. It aims to improve patient outcomes by enhancing medical care effectiveness through specialised nutrition. Participants can earn 28 CME credits from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

Key areas include oncology nutrition, immunonutrition, and rare metabolic disorders. Special attention is given to vulnerable groups like neonates and the elderly.
