Shamma Bint Mohammed Engages With Community Institutions In Tokyo To Promote Peace And Education

Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairperson of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, recently visited Tokyo. Her trip focused on engaging with organisations dedicated to peace, education, and environmental awareness. This visit was part of her involvement in Expo Osaka 2025.

During her time in Tokyo, Sheikha Dr. Shamma explored initiatives at Peace Boat and the International Nature School. These organisations are known for their commitment to sustainable development and fostering intercultural dialogue. Her visits highlighted a shared global vision for these causes.

At Peace Boat, Sheikha Dr. Shamma met with Yoshioka Tatsuya, the organisation's Founder and Director. He provided an overview of their work in promoting peace and understanding among different cultures while emphasising environmental protection and sustainability principles.
