During the visit, centre specialists presented advanced tools and technologies used to explain food and drug concepts in clear and engaging ways, while an interactive presentation outlined the Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s experience in improving the safety of products under its supervision through structured oversight and strong regulatory frameworks.

The presentation detailed legislation and monitoring systems that support preventive awareness, encourage correct food and drug practices, and help raise public understanding of safety requirements, with the Interactive Awareness Center using digital media and modern technology to deliver educational messages aimed at all segments of Saudi society.

Exhibits at the Interactive Awareness Center guide visitors through the journey of food from farm to table, track the development of medicine from ancient remedies to modern manufacturing technologies, and explain the Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s responsibilities in supervising this vital sector that affects daily life and community health.

The visit aligns with the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build a healthy and vibrant society, and it underlines the Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s ongoing cooperation with government and non-profit entities to strengthen concepts of food and drug safety throughout the Kingdom.
