SFDA Interactive Awareness Center Engages Delegations From National Guard And Industry Ministries
The Interactive Awareness Center of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority received several visiting delegations, who reviewed how the centre supports food and drug awareness and safety. Delegates examined digital tools that explain regulatory concepts and observed how these resources aim to improve public understanding across Saudi society.
The visitors included artificial intelligence and business intelligence officials from the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, non-profit leaders at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, and representatives of the Food Manufacturers Association. Their joint visit focused on learning from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority experience in oversight and education.

During the programme, specialists at the Interactive Awareness Center presented an interactive overview of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s work. The presentation outlined how inspection systems, regulatory frameworks, and oversight legislation are applied to products under supervision to support preventive awareness and encourage correct food and drug practices.
Officials explained that awareness messages are produced using digital media formats and modern technologies. This educational content targets different age groups and community segments, aiming to make food and drug awareness accessible and clear. The approach is designed to respond to current communication habits and reach audiences across the Kingdom.
Exhibits at the Interactive Awareness Center guide visitors through the food journey from farm to table. Other sections trace the development of medicine from early remedies to current manufacturing technologies. These displays highlight the Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s responsibilities in organising and supervising this vital health-related sector.
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority stated that guests praised the centre’s contribution to modernising food and drug awareness methods. The delegations viewed the centre as a qualitative shift that aligns with the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to support a healthy, active population.
According to the authority, the visit also reflects a wider commitment to cooperation with government and non-profit bodies. This collaboration is intended to deepen food and drug safety concepts in the Kingdom. The Saudi Press Agency reported the visit, noting it at 18:29 local time, 15:29 GMT, under reference 0038.
