Security Teams Enhance Worshipper Experience At Prophet's Mosque In Ramadan

Visitors to the Prophet's Mosque in Saudi Arabia are greeted with comprehensive guidance and direction services as part of a crowd management program. This initiative, spearheaded by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque in collaboration with other security authorities, aims to ensure a seamless experience for worshippers, especially during peak times such as the holy month of Ramadan.

The Saudi Press Agency has highlighted the diligent efforts of security personnel in managing pedestrian and vehicle traffic around the mosque. These measures include giving priority to pedestrians before and after prayer times, maintaining smooth traffic flow on secondary roads, and enforcing parking restrictions in areas designated for pedestrians. Additionally, there is an organized system for exiting parking lots under the mosque and directing worshippers towards bus stops, mosque entrances, parking areas, and routes leading to their residences.

The guidance and counseling department at the authority, along with volunteers, play a crucial role in assisting visitors upon their arrival. They provide answers to queries, direct people to iftar locations, operate assistance corners in various languages, and help those who have lost their way. Furthermore, they engage in educational and awareness campaigns and collaborate with security personnel to regulate entry during busy periods and organize visits to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah.

These concerted efforts underscore the commitment of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque and its partners to offer a supportive and organized environment for worshippers visiting this sacred site during Ramadan.
