Vice Justice Minister Launches Second International Judicial Training Conference To Enhance Legal Expertise
Vice Minister of Justice Dr. Najem bin Abdullah Al-Zaid inaugurated the Second International Judicial Training Conference, under the patronage of Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani. Organised by the Ministry of Justice through the Judicial Training Center, this event focuses on "Excellence in Judicial Training: Innovation in Tools and Methodologies." Legal experts and specialists from across the globe attended.
Dr. Al-Zaid highlighted Saudi Arabia's legislative progress, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. This initiative aims to reinforce legal principles, ensure rights, enhance transparency, and boost legal certainty. An integrated system of specialised legislation has been launched to align with Vision 2030's goals.

The vice minister emphasised that investing in human capital is crucial for developing a modern judicial system. The Judicial Training Center continues to implement programs to qualify judges and train all judicial sector members, including lawyers, judicial assistants, notaries, conciliators, and enforcement service providers.
The conference aims to advance an integrated judicial training model that keeps pace with developments and aligns with supporting capabilities and tools. It seeks to exchange international expertise and explore ways to develop judicial training by reviewing global best practices and innovating methodologies that contribute to raising the quality of judicial performance.
The event features broad international participation from judicial institutes and training bodies worldwide. This reinforces its role as a global platform for knowledge exchange and partnership-building in judicial training. A total of 32 speakers and experts from 16 countries are taking part in the program.
The program includes nine workshops and three dialogue sessions addressing advanced topics such as the role of scientific research and innovation in shaping judicial training strategies. Modern methods for measuring the impact of training programs are also discussed alongside case studies of pioneering international experiences in this field.
Dr. Al-Zaid stressed that the conference seeks to advance an integrated judicial training model that keeps pace with developments and aligns with supporting capabilities and tools. The event's theme underscores the importance of innovation in tools and methodologies for achieving excellence in judicial training.
