A key decision made by the Council involves the conditional release of convicts in Sharjah. Under this ruling, a convict may be released with a freedom-restricting penalty if they have served three-quarters of their sentence. For those serving life imprisonment, release is possible after a minimum of 20 years. The final decision rests with the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and the Public Prosecution will be informed accordingly.

The policy outlines terms for conditional release, potential obstacles, grounds for cancellation, executive decisions involved, and measures for enforcement and publication. These guidelines ensure that the process is transparent and consistent with legal standards.

The Council reviewed a presentation on Sharjah's gross domestic product (GDP), which provided an overview of the emirate's economic performance. It highlighted key indicators for evaluating GDP and insights into economic growth rates from previous years. The presentation also identified main sectors contributing to GDP, showcasing Sharjah's competitive standing among other economies.

Periodic economic surveys conducted by the government were emphasized in the presentation. These surveys are either annual or intermittent and play a crucial role in decision-making by providing accurate data on Sharjah's economy. This information supports both public and private sectors in developing future plans.

The meeting underscored Sharjah's commitment to offering top-notch services to its community through effective policy implementation across various sectors. By focusing on economic performance and municipal advancements, the emirate aims to maintain its competitive edge while ensuring sustainable growth.
