The report revealed that 5,118 retirees benefit from this supplementary grant. The total cost exceeds AED473 million. It also included statistics, comparisons, and recommendations related to the grant's impact on financial and social well-being for retirees in Sharjah.

Preparations for Sharjah's 53rd National Day celebrations were also discussed. The report highlighted key events, exhibitions, and educational sessions planned across the emirate's cities and regions. The visual identity for these celebrations draws inspiration from the "Year of Sustainability" initiative set for 2024.

The council emphasised that activities should engage all community segments. They aim to strengthen national identity among youth while celebrating the union's achievements and honouring founding leaders' efforts in uniting the nation.

The council's discussions reflect a commitment to enhancing citizens' quality of life through strategic initiatives. By focusing on retiree support and national celebrations, they aim to foster societal unity and pride in Sharjah's progress.
