SEC Regulates Supplementary Support For Families With Monthly Incomes Below AED 17,500 In Sharjah

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, led the Executive Council meeting at the Ruler’s Office on Tuesday. H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi also attended. The Council focused on regulating government departments and agencies in Sharjah, reviewing development plans to enhance service quality and improve life for citizens and residents.

The Council commended initiatives by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, aimed at improving citizens' quality of life. These initiatives include additional aid for eligible families in Sharjah, ensuring they maintain a respectable standard of living. The Department of Social Services will provide this support to families with a total monthly income below AED17,500.

Mira Khalifa Abdullah Al Suwaidi has been promoted to Department Director under the Sharjah Government Special Jobs System. She will also serve as Assistant Secretary of the Sharjah Consultative Council. This decision reflects the Council's commitment to enhancing organisational frameworks across various government departments and agencies.

The Council approved the organisational structure of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment. This move aims to strengthen its capacity to fulfill responsibilities within its mandate. Additionally, the General Secretariat was instructed to conclude its legislative session as part of broader organisational improvements.

A report on the Medical Committee for Home Nursing Services in Sharjah was reviewed by the Council. It detailed 219 new cases recorded from January to June across various cities in the emirate, with a financial impact exceeding AED20 million. The committee aims to provide comprehensive medical care and facilitate patient integration at home.

The report also highlighted a customer satisfaction survey revealing an 89.4% satisfaction rate with services provided by the Home Nursing Medical Committee. This high satisfaction underscores the effectiveness of their efforts in delivering quality medical care to families in need.

The Council decided on regulations for providing supplementary assistance to eligible families, ensuring social welfare enhancement through structured support systems. These measures are expected to positively impact both citizens and residents by improving overall service quality within the emirate.
