SEC Introduces New Vehicle Impoundment Regulations To Enhance Traffic Management In Sharjah

H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, led a meeting of the Executive Council at the Ruler's Office. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi and H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi also attended. The meeting focused on improving government department efficiency and monitoring Sharjah's plans to ensure top-notch services for the community.

Vehicle owners or those with legal rights can request a replacement during impoundment by paying a daily fee. This allows them to retrieve their vehicle sooner rather than waiting for the entire impound period. The decision also specifies when these daily fees start based on the reason for impoundment.
