SDAIA Signs Seven Strategic Agreements With Leading US Tech Companies To Boost AI Capabilities

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has entered into seven strategic partnerships with prominent US firms specialising in data and artificial intelligence. These agreements were formalised during the Saudi-US Investment Forum in Washington, D.C., which saw the participation of numerous dignitaries, senior officials, CEOs, and leaders from major American and Saudi companies.

One of the key collaborations is with Supermicro, focusing on server solutions and data centre design. This partnership also includes AI events, training, and e-learning initiatives aimed at building national capacity. The goal is to enhance the Kingdom's digital transformation efforts by improving its data and AI capabilities.

SDAIA Inks Seven AI Agreements with US Firms

Dell's agreement aims to boost AI adoption through infrastructure development and best practices. This collaboration will also focus on building national capabilities and facilitating knowledge transfer to accelerate digital transformation within the Kingdom.

Accenture will work with SDAIA to exchange expertise for developing national leadership in AI. Their joint initiatives will focus on building data and AI infrastructure, raising public awareness, and supporting workforce transformation efforts across Saudi Arabia.

Cisco's involvement will see cooperation activated to promote AI adoption in the public sector. They aim to enhance digital transformation by collaborating on scalable, AI-enhanced data centre environments and promoting various AI initiatives.

Fostering Innovation in AI Ecosystem

Boomi will collaborate with SDAIA to establish a framework for innovation within the AI ecosystem. This involves creating AI data centres powered by Boomi technology while exchanging expertise to drive advancements in this field.

SambaNova's focus is on enhanced cooperation through knowledge exchange, joint programs, events, training camps, and awareness campaigns related to AI and data. This partnership aims to strengthen the Kingdom's position in these areas.

Expanding Global Reach

GitLab plans to explore opportunities for strengthening partnerships in training and development. They aim to promote innovation by developing commercial solutions that expand the global reach of AI applications originating from Saudi Arabia.

The agreements led by SDAIA President Dr. Abdullah Alghamdi are part of a broader strategy to accelerate digital transformation in Saudi Arabia. These collaborations cover a wide range of initiatives designed to enhance the country's capabilities in data and artificial intelligence.
