Ramadan Sees Boost In Scholarly Lectures At Holy Mosques By Religious Affairs Presidency

During the sacred month of Ramadan, a significant increase in guidance and scholarly lectures has been announced by the Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque. This initiative is set to enrich the spiritual experience of visitors and Umrah performers with profound Islamic teachings.

The lectures, scheduled to take place throughout Ramadan, will be delivered by esteemed members of the Council of Senior Scholars along with other experts in various Islamic sciences. These sessions are designed to cover a wide range of topics including jurisprudence, principles, tafsir (Quranic exegesis), and the Prophetic biography, all derived from the Holy Quran and Sunnah.

Ramadan Lectures Boost at Holy Mosques

In addition to these scholarly lectures, religious advice will be offered after Taraweeh, Fajr, and Asr prayers, providing attendees with ample opportunities to deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings. Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, has expressed his gratitude for the dedicated efforts of the Council of Senior Scholars, imams of the two holy mosques, and scholars in spreading knowledge and awareness among visitors.

Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais also highlighted the importance of leveraging technology and various media platforms to disseminate the message of Islam on a global scale. Through educational and scientific programs tailored for visitors, students, and pilgrims from around the world, these efforts aim to promote a moderate understanding of Islam, spreading its values and principles far and wide.

The ultimate goal of these lectures is not only to enhance the religious experience of those visiting the two holy mosques during Ramadan but also to encourage a deeper engagement with Islamic teachings. By offering a diverse range of topics and making use of modern technology to reach a broader audience, the Presidency for Religious Affairs hopes to foster a more profound understanding and appreciation of Islam among Muslims worldwide.

This initiative reflects a commitment to enriching the faith journey of Muslims during one of the most spiritually significant times of the year. Through these efforts, visitors to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque can look forward to an enhanced spiritual experience that deepens their connection to their faith.
