SCAD Commemorates UAE Civil Aviation Day With Job Fair And Celebratory Events
The Sharjah Civil Aviation Department (SCAD) marked UAE Civil Aviation Day, celebrating the nation's achievements in aviation. This year's event aligns with the "We Love Our Skies" campaign by the General Civil Aviation Authority, themed "Future Prospects for the UAE Aviation Sector." It also commemorates the 92nd anniversary of the first aircraft landing in Sharjah on 5th October 1932.
Various events were held to mark the occasion. SCAD participated in a job fair organised by the General Civil Aviation Authority at Al Ain Municipality. The fair aimed to highlight career opportunities in aviation, distributing brochures and souvenirs to high school and university students interested in this sector.

A special event for SCAD employees took place at their main building. Workshops were conducted with the Sharjah Calligraphy Museum and Sharjah Archaeology Museum. Additionally, a photo exhibition showcasing Sharjah's aviation history was organised with Al Mahatta Museum, featuring raffles and souvenir giveaways for attendees.
Sheikh Khalid bin Essam Al Qasimi, Chairman of SCAD, stated, "This year's celebration of UAE Civil Aviation Day represents the many achievements of our nation in the aviation sector, reflecting the vision of our wise leadership towards excellence, sustainability, and innovation.
