SCA Celebrates Graduation Of Second Cohort From Financial Market Pioneers Programme For Emirati Youth
The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), in partnership with Sandooq Al Watan and ADGM Academy, recently celebrated the graduation of the second group from the Financial Market Pioneers Programme. This initiative is designed to equip young Emiratis with the skills needed to influence the future of the UAE's financial markets. This year, 27 Emirati youths completed the programme, which included ten specialised training modules over 84 hours.
Achieving a perfect success rate, these graduates showed exceptional dedication to their professional development. Their achievements highlight the programme's success in nurturing a new generation of skilled national talent ready to boost the UAE’s reputation as a leading financial hub both regionally and globally. With 58 graduates over its first two cohorts, this programme remains crucial in advancing youth empowerment, human capital development, and economic diversification in the UAE.

During the graduation ceremony, Waleed Saeed Al Awadhi, CEO of the SCA, remarked on this significant milestone. He stated, "Today marks a significant milestone as we celebrate the achievements of a new generation of ambitious Emiratis. Their success underscores the critical importance of investing in human capital as a pillar of sustainable development." The programme aligns with visionary directives to empower youth and cultivate future leaders.
Yasser Al Gargawi, Director-General of Sandooq Al Watan, emphasised how vital this programme is for economic growth. He noted that it reflects outstanding efforts to prepare young national talent. Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, Chairman of ADGM Academy, highlighted the programme’s role in developing a skilled national workforce central to sustainable development strategies.
