This launch was part of the Future of Media Exhibition (FOMEX) held alongside the Saudi Media Forum, marking a pivotal moment in the Kingdom's journey towards achieving its Vision 2030 goals.

The event saw the presence of Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, along with numerous dignitaries from various Arab and international media outlets. The Saudi encyclopedia initiative is a cornerstone of the Human Capability Development Program, aiming to serve as a comprehensive knowledge reference about the Kingdom. This platform is set to become the foremost source of reliable information on Saudi Arabia, available in multiple languages to cater to a global audience.

Al-Dosari highlighted that Saudipedia is a direct reflection of the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to foster a society that celebrates its heritage and unique cultural identity. He stated, "Saudipedia aims to become the primary source of information about the leadership, people, history, geography, and culture of Saudi Arabia. We will achieve this by providing a platform in multiple languages, starting with Arabic."
