Saudi Winter 2025 Program Launches With Extensive Private Sector Participation And Diverse Offerings
The Saudi Winter 2025 program was unveiled by Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Tourism Authority. The launch event in Riyadh attracted over 120 private sector partners. This initiative, themed "Winter is Alive," aims to enhance Saudi Arabia's appeal as a winter destination.
Running until early 2026, the program will be introduced in phases. It includes more than 1,200 tourism products and over 600 special offers across key locations like Riyadh, Diriyah, Jeddah, AlUla, the Red Sea, and the Eastern Region. The initiative also highlights Qassim, Hail, and Madinah.

The program promises a variety of experiences such as live concerts, cultural performances, and theatrical productions. Visitors can enjoy poetry nights and family activities in Al-Khobar. Additionally, events like the AlUla Wellness Festival and the World Rally Championship are featured.
Jeddah will host the F1H2O UIM World Championship powerboat race. A collaboration with MrBeast and the WWE Royal Rumble event are part of Riyadh Season's attractions. These offerings aim to attract visitors from regional and international markets.
Al-Khateeb highlighted that Saudi Winter 2025 builds on past tourism successes. "The launch of Saudi Winter 2025 presents a new opportunity to further position Saudi Arabia as a leading global winter destination," he stated. The program aligns with Vision 2030's goal of reaching 150 million visitors by 2030.
The initiative showcases Saudi Arabia’s diverse natural landscapes and cultural heritage. Destinations like Riyadh, Diriyah, AlUla, and Al-Khobar will host unique tourism seasons and experiences. These efforts aim to boost visitor numbers and spending in line with national goals.
The Events Calendar was revealed during the ceremony, outlining various tourism seasons across key destinations. This calendar is designed to highlight distinctive experiences available throughout Saudi Winter.
