Highlighting the deep-rooted strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and the USA, Al-Duailej reminisced about the inception of the Kingdom's aviation journey over 75 years ago. This journey began when US President Franklin Roosevelt gifted a Douglas DC-3 aircraft to King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud in 1945. Since then, Saudi Arabia's aviation industry has evolved into a key contributor to the nation's GDP.

Al-Duailej further shed light on the economic ties between the two nations, revealing that the volume of joint trade stands at approximately USD34.7 billion. Notably, exports from the US to Saudi Arabia in the realm of aircraft, spacecraft, and spare parts account for 9% of this figure. He also emphasized Saudi Arabia's strategic geographical position connecting three continents and its commitment to developing civil aviation infrastructure. Such efforts are poised to enhance trade relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States significantly.

The meeting underscores both countries' dedication to advancing their aviation sectors through shared knowledge and technology transfer. It also highlights the importance of international cooperation in promoting sustainable development and innovation within global aviation industries.
