Saudi-Tunisian Economic Cooperation Boosts Investment Partnerships And Private Sector Ties
Saudi and Tunisian officials used a joint meeting in Riyadh to press for stronger investment ties, tasking the private sector with expanding cross-border projects and stressing that deeper economic cooperation is central to both countries’ long-term development goals.
Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and Minister of Economy and Planning of the Republic of Tunisia Dr. Samir Abdulhafidh met with chairmen and members of the Saudi-Tunisian Business Council, discussing practical steps to increase investments in both markets.

The discussions highlighted the role of companies and investors in Saudi Arabia and Tunisia as key partners in sustainable development, with both sides urging the private sector to seek quality investment opportunities that widen the economic base and align with national development plans.
Officials noted that the meeting took place alongside the 12th session of the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee in Riyadh, using the wider talks to link bilateral initiatives with regional cooperation and to support coordinated economic planning between the two states.

Participants reviewed the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, stressing its focus on building strong industrial and economic partnerships, deepening integration with Arab countries, and advancing sustainable development while protecting shared interests through more balanced and diversified sources of income.

Officials concluded by reaffirming the strength of Saudi-Tunisian relations and the depth of existing economic links, agreeing to prioritise cooperation and integration across several strategic sectors, and to use the Saudi-Tunisian Business Council as a key platform for ongoing dialogue.
