'Raei Al-Ajrab': A New Historical Drama Celebrating Saudi Founding Day

Riyadh, February 23, 2024 - The Ministry of Media's Saudi Treasures Initiative, known as KONOZ, has unveiled a new historical drama short film titled "Raei Al-Ajrab" in celebration of Saudi Founding Day. This latest cinematic work aims to shed light on the pivotal moments following the collapse of the first Saudi state and the subsequent destruction of Diriyah, focusing on Imam Turki bin Abdullah's resilience and strategic prowess.

The narrative centers around Imam Turki bin Abdullah's determination to defend his territory against adversaries. It vividly illustrates his efforts to rally support and strategize for the re-establishment of the Saudi state, culminating in his triumphant re-entry into Riyadh. This film not only highlights a significant historical episode but also showcases the rich cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia.

Produced by KONOZ, "Raei Al-Ajrab" is part of a broader initiative to document and celebrate the Kingdom's historical narratives and heroic tales.
