Saudi Arabia Showcases Transport And Logistics Innovations At Munich's Transport Logistic 2025 Exhibition
The "Transport Logistic 2025" exhibition commenced in Munich, Germany, spotlighting Saudi Arabia's logistics advancements. The event, facilitated by the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) and the "Invest Saudi" initiative, features over 22 entities from the Kingdom's industry and logistics sectors. The Ministry of Investment is also participating. This collaboration aims to enhance the logistics sector and attract investments.
On the first day, five key agreements were signed to boost cooperation in logistics and improve supply-chain efficiency. These agreements are expected to draw high-quality investments into the sector. Additionally, six workshops were conducted, focusing on infrastructure developments, digital transformation, special economic zones, and human capital opportunities.

The main session titled "It's Happening: Saudi Logistics Now," featured NIDLP Chief Executive Eng. Suliman Almazroua. He discussed Saudi Arabia's transformation in logistics, emphasizing interconnected systems supported by government-private partnerships. These efforts align with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.

The workshops at the Saudi Pavilion underscored logistics as a vital economic enabler. They showcased national case studies on empowering logistics hubs and advancing regulatory frameworks. These efforts aim to strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as a global logistics hub connecting three continents.
Two focused sessions were held during the workshop. The first session addressed sector enablers like talent development and strengthening logistics systems. Participants included Dr. Abdullah Alabdulkarim from the Saudi Logistics Academy (SLA), Eng. Mousa Albarqi from NIDLP, and Nouf Alfares from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services.
Ports and Investments
The second session concentrated on ports' roles and Maersk's investment in Jeddah Islamic Port. This investment aims to enhance logistics services and operational capabilities in Saudi ports, reinforcing their international maritime significance.
Participants in this session included Abdullah Al-Munif from the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) and Eng. Peter Knapp from Maersk Logistics Hub in Jeddah.
Ongoing Activities
The Saudi pavilion will continue hosting activities such as bilateral meetings, additional agreement signings, and interactive workshops in the coming days. These efforts are part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing initiatives to showcase progress in logistics and transport fields while achieving Vision 2030 objectives.
