Saudi Tours In Japan Announced By Kingdom's Pavilion At Expo 2025 Osaka For Cultural Exchange

Dr. Ghazi Binzagr, the Kingdom's Ambassador to Japan and Commissioner General of the Saudi Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, attended the final International Participants' Meeting. This event took place from January 15 to 16 at the Himeji Culture and Convention Center. During this meeting, he shared updates on the pavilion's progress and upcoming plans.

The Saudi Pavilion is nearing completion, with construction 82 percent finished and the front façade fully completed. It is set to open its doors to visitors on April 13. The pavilion will host over 700 activities and daily live performances, aiming to enrich the visitor experience significantly.

Launch of Saudi Tours in Japan Announced

Ambassador Binzagr emphasised campaigns encouraging Japanese citizens to "Discover Saudi Arabia." He stated, "The Kingdom is pleased to host visitors and invites them to embark on an interconnected journey of new discoveries. Through our pavilion, we will showcase the depth of our traditions and the remarkable transformations taking place in Saudi Arabia."

The pavilion will feature a diverse range of events during Expo 2025 Osaka. These include daily shows that highlight fashion, music, and films, offering a unique glimpse into Saudi Arabia's rich heritage and ambitious future. Visitors will have a chance to explore these cultural facets firsthand.

A national initiative called Saudi Tours in Japan was also announced by Ambassador Binzagr. This initiative aims to foster cultural interaction between Saudi Arabia and Japan by visiting seven Japanese cities: Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Tokyo. The tours will conclude on March 9.

These tours are designed to provide an immersive experience for the Japanese public. They introduce participants to authentic Saudi hospitality and culture while encouraging them to visit the Saudi Pavilion when it opens in April alongside World Expo 2025.

The Kingdom's efforts at Expo 2025 Osaka aim to strengthen ties with Japan through cultural exchange and mutual understanding. By showcasing its traditions and modern advancements, Saudi Arabia hopes to leave a lasting impression on visitors from around the world.
