Saudi Tourism Showcases Unique Experiences And Ambitions At ITB Berlin 2025
Saudi Arabia's tourism sector made a significant impression at ITB Berlin 2025, showcasing its diverse offerings. Over three days, Saudi Land attracted more than 30,000 visitors and facilitated over 760 business meetings. These interactions led to crucial agreements with global travel and tourism stakeholders. Such developments are pivotal in enhancing global connectivity, advancing digital tourism solutions, and drawing investment into Saudi Arabia’s burgeoning tourism industry.

The CEO of the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), Fahd Hamidaddin, led the delegation at ITB Berlin. He engaged in impactful discussions with international travel trade representatives. This aligns with Saudi Arabia's goal to welcome 150 million visitors annually by 2030.
Fahd Hamidaddin emphasized the scale of Saudi Arabia's ambitions: "Saudi’s transformation into a global tourism powerhouse is not just a vision – it’s a reality in motion. The partnerships we’ve built reflect the growing demand for Saudi as a premier destination."
In 2024 alone, Saudi Arabia signed over 200 agreements with partners from Europe and the Americas. These regions have been crucial to its growth, contributing to an influx of 4 million visitors. Visitor spending surged by 41%, reaching $7.9 billion.
Hamidaddin noted that ITB Berlin served as an ideal platform to connect with both existing and potential partners who see immense opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector. "The shared enthusiasm for growth and innovation reinforces our commitment to shaping the future of global tourism together," he stated.
