Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al Khateeb Inaugurates Saudi Land Pavilion At World Travel Market In London

The Saudi Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al Khateeb, has launched Saudi Arabia's participation in the World Travel Market (WTM) in London. The "Saudi Land" pavilion, featuring the Visit Saudi exhibition, is organised by the Saudi Tourism Authority for the fourth year. This event is supported by over 70 partners from various sectors, including destinations, hotels, airlines, travel companies, and tour operators.

Saudi Arabia's involvement in this significant international event highlights its efforts to establish a strong presence on the global tourism map. The Kingdom aims to showcase its rapid growth and record-breaking achievements in tourism. The event promotes unique Saudi destinations and attracts diverse tourist demographics while empowering the private tourism sector and facilitating strategic partnerships.

Saudi Land Pavilion Launched at WTM London

The Visit Saudi pavilion introduced the Saudi Red Sea Destination, highlighting recent projects by Red Sea Global. This year, 16 world-class resorts are set to be completed, with a goal of reaching 50 resorts by 2030. The pavilion also offers interactive experiences that showcase Saudi hospitality, natural diversity, climate, culture, traditional attire, music, and cuisine.

Fahd Hamidaddin, Chief Executive of the Saudi Tourism Authority and board member, stated that Saudi Arabia is celebrating its tourism achievements at this major international event. The Kingdom aims to build on the success of its global promotional campaign "This Land Is Calling," targeting key markets worldwide and supporting partner successes while forging strategic partnerships with top global companies.

"Saudi Arabia seeks to solidify its leadership in world tourism," said Al Khateeb. He emphasised that the Kingdom is aligning with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals by highlighting unique destinations and new projects. As the largest global investor in tourism, Saudi Arabia aims to showcase significant investment opportunities.

The pavilion's interactive experiences highlight various aspects of Saudi culture and lifestyle. Visitors can explore traditional attire and music while enjoying authentic Saudi cuisine. These elements aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of what makes Saudi Arabia a unique destination.
