Saudi Teacher Mansour Al-Mansour Recognised As One Of The Top 50 Educators Worldwide By Varkey Foundation
Mansour bin Abdullah Al-Mansour, a teacher from the Al-Ahsa Education Department, has been honoured as one of the top 50 educators worldwide. This announcement was made during a ceremony hosted by the Varkey Foundation (VGF), a UK-based educational organisation. The event celebrated 90 teachers globally, aiming to highlight the importance of teaching and promote excellence in education.
Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Issa, Director of Al-Ahsa Education Department, congratulated Al-Mansour on this achievement. He described it as evidence of the Kingdom's leadership's support for education and its professionals. Al-Issa praised Al-Mansour's dedication and excellence, making him a commendable representative of Saudi teachers.

Al-Issa extended his congratulations to several officials, including the governor of the Eastern Region, the deputy governor, the governor of Al-Ahsa, and the minister of education. This recognition highlights Al-Mansour's status as one of the world's top 50 educators in the VGF Global Teacher Prize.
Al-Mansour expressed gratitude to the Al-Ahsa Education Department for its support. He credited this backing as a significant factor in achieving this milestone. His selection came from over 5,000 teachers representing 90 countries. Key criteria for his nomination included teaching performance and innovative initiatives.
Additional factors considered were community service, support for global poverty alleviation, community partnerships, contributions to sustainable development goals, and overcoming challenges. These elements played a crucial role in his recognition by the Varkey Foundation.
