Saudi Robotics Federation Collaborates With VEX Robotics And RECF To Advance STEM Education In Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports has partnered with VEX Robotics and the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF) to enhance STEM education in Saudi Arabia. This collaboration aims to integrate advanced robotics technology into classrooms and competitions, aligning with the Kingdom's vision for technological innovation and youth empowerment.
By promoting a culture of STEM excellence, this initiative will provide students with opportunities to explore robotics, develop essential skills, and participate in global competitions. The CEO of the Saudi Federation of Robotics and RC Sports, Abdullah Alsunaydi, expressed pride in partnering with VEX Robotics and RECF. "We are honored to partner with VEX Robotics and RECF to enhance the robotics landscape in Saudi Arabia. This partnership supports our mission to cultivate a knowledge-driven society, nurture innovation, and create new opportunities for our youth," he stated.

The collaboration will focus on expanding access to robotics education by offering teacher training and resources. Local, regional, and national competitions will also be established. These initiatives aim to inspire students to explore STEM fields and build confidence in science, technology, and engineering careers.
VEX Robotics provides a hands-on educational solution called the VEX Continuum. This program is designed to engage students from elementary through university levels. It offers practical learning experiences that encourage students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios.
The RECF organizes the world's largest global robotics competition. This event encourages students to develop problem-solving skills and collaborate with peers in dynamic environments. Through this partnership, Saudi students will have opportunities to compete internationally, representing their country on a global stage.
Looking ahead, VEX Robotics, RECF, and the Saudi Federation aim to establish a sustainable ecosystem for robotics education in Saudi Arabia. By fostering innovation and providing world-class educational tools, they seek to create new pathways for student engagement in STEM fields.
This initiative represents a significant step towards equipping Saudi students with cutting-edge educational platforms. It aligns with the Kingdom's broader goals of technological advancement and empowering its youth through education.
