The agreement was formalized by SRSA Acting CEO Mohammed Al-Nasser and NEOM CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr, marking a pivotal step towards enhancing the marine tourism experience in Saudi Arabia.

The primary focus of this partnership is to foster the exchange of expertise and facilitate the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at research enhancement, innovation delivery, and visitor experience improvement across Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coastal destinations. One of the core objectives of this collaboration is to align with Saudi Vision 2030's goals by activating coastal tourism as a key economic sector. The MoU outlines several cooperation areas, including supporting investment opportunities in coastal tourism and water activities, alongside planning and executing additional joint initiatives as mutually agreed upon by SRSA and NEOM.
