Saudi And Qatari Foreign Ministers Meet To Strengthen Bilateral Relations And Cooperation
On Tuesday, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, in Doha. They discussed strengthening the robust ties between Saudi Arabia and Qatar to fulfil the aspirations of their peoples.
The meeting also involved co-chairing a session of the executive committee of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council. The ministers focused on enhancing bilateral relations through various initiatives. These efforts aim to elevate cooperation to new levels within both bilateral and multilateral frameworks.

The executive committee's secretariat provided an overview of the council's work and its subcommittees' activities over recent periods. Updates were shared on preparations for the upcoming eighth council meeting. The committee reviewed progress made since the seventh meeting held in Doha.
Both sides commended the ongoing collaboration among subcommittees and their teams. They stressed maintaining this momentum to achieve mutual interests for both nations and their citizens. The ministers concluded by signing the meeting minutes.
Several key figures attended the meeting, including Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs; Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, Saudi Ambassador to Qatar; and Waleed Al-Ismail, Director-General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The discussions highlighted mechanisms to further develop strong fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Qatar. This includes exploring ways to enhance collaboration through initiatives aimed at elevating relations to new heights.
The ministers emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum in collaborative efforts among subcommittees. This is crucial for achieving shared interests that benefit both countries and their peoples.
