Saudi Pavilion At IDEF 2025 Showcases Military Innovations And Secures Strategic Partnerships

The Saudi pavilion wrapped up its involvement at the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF) 2025, which took place from July 22 to 27. Organised by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), the pavilion featured over ten national entities from both public and private sectors. This participation aimed to strengthen Saudi military industries and enhance the global competitiveness of national companies.

Visitors engaged actively with the Saudi pavilion, which offered detailed presentations on national products, innovative technologies, and military capabilities of participating Saudi companies. The pavilion also provided comprehensive information on investment incentives, the investor journey, and the Kingdom's attractive investment environment.

Saudi Pavilion at IDEF 2025 Highlights Military Gains

The exhibition witnessed the signing of five memoranda of understanding (MoUs). Al-Esnad Factory signed three separate MoUs with Turkish companies: MDH Makel, AKSA Group, and Ayyazilim. Additionally, an MoU was signed between the National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS) and MKE, as well as another between Intra Defense Technologies and SAĞLAMTEK.

These strategic partnerships highlight Saudi Arabia's growing role in military industries. They reflect GAMI's commitment to supporting national companies and enhancing their international competitiveness. Ultimately, these efforts serve national security objectives and sustainable economic development.

GAMI Governor Eng. Ahmad Al-Ohali led a delegation that held several productive bilateral meetings with senior military officials and CEOs of major global defense companies. These discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in military industries, exchanging expertise, and empowering national companies to boost their international competitiveness.

During his visit to the Saudi pavilion, Turkish Defense Industries President Professor Haluk Gorgun praised Saudi Arabia's presence at IDEF 2025. He was briefed on GAMI's role, responsibilities, policies, regulations, and the investor journey within the sector.

Showcasing Capabilities

The Saudi pavilion attracted a significant number of visitors, officials, and experts. It fostered an environment for exchanging expertise, exploring investment opportunities, and facilitating knowledge transfer. Visitors received thorough explanations about GAMI's role alongside displays highlighting Saudi Arabia's most prominent capabilities in military and security industries.
