Saudi Pavilion Participates In DSEI 2025 To Showcase Military Innovations And Partnerships
The Saudi pavilion at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI 2025) was inaugurated in London. Organised by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), the event runs from September 9 to 12. It gathers global leaders in military and security industries to strengthen ties, exchange expertise, and showcase military technology advancements.
Governor of GAMI Eng. Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali led the inauguration. Key figures present included Deputy Minister of National Guard Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood, Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, President of GACA Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, and Chargé d’Affaires Bandar bin Salman Al-Sudairi.

Al-Ohali highlighted Saudi Arabia’s aim to become a regional hub for military industries. The goal is to localise over 50% of government spending on military equipment by 2030. This aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on international partnerships and attracting quality investments.
The Saudi pavilion serves as a strategic platform to display national companies' progress in defense products and technologies. It reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to international cooperation, contributing to regional and global security and stability.
The pavilion features participation from entities like the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), Saudi Chemical Company Limited (SCCL), GDC Middle East, and the World Defense Show (WDS). These organisations highlight key products and capabilities that enable the sector.
During the opening tour, guests were briefed on national products, military industrial capabilities, and advanced technologies on display. The event also hosted CEOs of participating national companies, senior military officials, experts, and specialists worldwide.
Fostering International Cooperation
The presence at DSEI 2025 underscores Saudi Arabia's growing role in military industries. It demonstrates GAMI’s commitment to supporting national companies, enhancing their competitiveness globally, and contributing to national security and sustainable economic development.
The pavilion will host bilateral meetings with international companies and delegations throughout the exhibition. These engagements aim to foster knowledge exchange and expertise sharing among participants.
GAMI will highlight its role in regulatory policies, legislation, incentives, and investor journeys during the event. This effort aims to enhance understanding of its responsibilities and national priorities within the sector.
