This resolution, known as "Measures to Combat Islamophobia," seeks to implement strategies to counteract racism, intolerance, extremism, and violence against Muslims. Khaled bin Abdul Rahman Al Fakhri, the Chairman of the NSHR, highlighted the resolution's role in fostering tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and community engagement.

Al Fakhri underscored the resolution's potential to significantly contribute to global peace by promoting dialogue and understanding among different communities. He also welcomed the decision to appoint a special envoy dedicated to tackling anti-Muslim hatred. This move is seen as a crucial step towards mitigating religious tensions and conflicts. The resolution encourages nations to adopt necessary legislative and policy measures to prevent religious intolerance, stereotyping, and incitement to violence against Muslims.
