Saudi Arabia's Fourth National Campaign For Charitable Work To Begin On Friday
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is set to witness the launch of the fourth National Campaign for Charitable Work on Friday at 10:30 PM, under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. This initiative, which will be rolled out through the Ehsan National Platform for Charitable Work, is a testament to the King's enduring commitment to enhancing charitable efforts across the nation, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
Eng. Ibrahim Alhusaini, Chief Executive Officer of Ehsan, emphasized the campaign's alignment with Ramadan's spirit of generosity and social solidarity. He underscored the significant backing from both the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, which has been instrumental in enabling Ehsan to execute its charitable mandate effectively.

The campaign is designed to facilitate contributions towards various charitable and developmental programs. Eng. Alhusaini elaborated on the governance framework that ensures donations are channeled through official and reliable means, thereby guaranteeing transparency and trust in the process. Furthermore, he highlighted the Ehsan Endowment Fund as a key feature of this year's campaign, aiming to foster sustainable philanthropy by investing donations and utilizing the returns for charitable activities across Saudi Arabia.
Eng. Al-Husseini also shed light on the broad spectrum of participation from individuals, businesses, and sectors within the community that have significantly contributed to the positive outcomes for beneficiaries. He pointed out that this initiative not only seeks to bolster a culture of donation but also aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives to amplify the impact of charitable and developmental work in the Kingdom.
The launch event will be broadcast live on Al-Ekhbariya TV channel, marking a significant moment in promoting community solidarity. The "Ehsan" platform continues to welcome donations from a wide array of benefactors through its application, website (Ehsan.sa), and via a dedicated hotline (8001247000), ensuring ease of access for those wishing to contribute during Ramadan.
Backed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Ehsan operates under stringent supervision by a committee comprising 13 government entities alongside a Sharia committee. This ensures all activities comply with Sharia law provisions. To date, donations have surpassed SAR5 billion, benefiting over 4.8 million individuals in various sectors, demonstrating the profound impact of collective generosity.
