Saudi Defense Ministry's Intellectual Protection Center To Compile Encyclopedia On Islamic Thought

In a significant move towards fostering unity among Islamic sects, the Building Bridges Between Islamic Schools of Thought and Sects Conference, under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, has taken a pivotal step. The conference, aimed at promoting dialogue and understanding across diverse Islamic traditions, has entrusted the Intellectual Protection Center of the Saudi Ministry of Defense with a critical task. This center is now tasked with preparing an in-depth study titled "The Islamic Intellectual Community," which will serve as the foundation for an upcoming encyclopedia on the subject.

The decision to select this center was based on its proven expertise in addressing intellectual issues within Islam, aligning perfectly with the conference's goals and ratified document. This document, endorsed by scholars from various Islamic sects, outlines the conference's mission to bridge gaps and foster unity among Muslims.
