Saudi HRSD Minister Champions Labor Reforms At G20 Brazil Meeting
The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, led Saudi Arabia's delegation at the G20 Ministers of Labor and Employment meeting. This event took place from 25-26 July in Fortaleza, Brazil. The gathering included labour and employment ministers from G20 member states, invited countries, heads of international and regional organizations, and civil society representatives.
Minister Al-Rajhi emphasized the Kingdom's proactive measures under Vision 2030 to prepare a distinguished national workforce. He highlighted efforts to promote values, develop essential and future skills, enhance knowledge, and strengthen the labour market. These initiatives aim to create a robust workforce ready for future challenges.

During his speech, Minister Al-Rajhi expressed gratitude to the Brazilian presidency for its exceptional efforts throughout the year. He underscored the significance of the Labour and Employment Group's priorities in developing labour markets. These priorities are crucial for fostering economic growth and social development.
The minister reiterated Saudi Arabia's dedication to improving work standards and conditions, including social security. He stressed the importance of empowering beneficiaries through qualification, training, and job opportunities.
