Saudi Media Innovation Bootcamp Judges Workshop Debuts At Saudi Media Forum 2026
The Saudi Media Forum held a workshop for judges on 2 February 2026 in Riyadh. The session formed part of the second Saudi Media Innovation Bootcamp, known as Saudi MIB. The workshop supported preparations for the forum’s fifth edition, planned from 2 to 4 February 2026.
Saudi MIB attracted more than 150 project submissions from across the media sector. Initial screening shortlisted over 50 proposals, which advanced to the next assessment stage. PCG Group, the bootcamp’s innovation partner, conducted this first review to filter eligible ideas. The programme has now entered a second evaluation phase to identify the most promising projects.

The Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is participating in Saudi MIB as a knowledge partner. This role helps improve evaluation methods and the development of advanced media projects using data and AI. The cooperation aims to build a more mature and interconnected media innovation ecosystem in the Kingdom.
Now in its second edition, Saudi MIB has been launched with a global identity. The bootcamp brings together creativity and technology, aligning with current shifts in digital media. Organisers state that this approach highlights the Kingdom’s leadership in shaping a knowledge-based media future.
For 2026, the bootcamp is fully integrated into the Saudi Media Forum, rather than running separately. Participants work together to generate ideas, design solutions and build partnerships that support the media industry. Chairman of the Saudi Media Forum Mohammed Al-Harthi attended the judges’ workshop, held within the forum’s business incubators and accelerators programme.
